Tuckerton Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on US 9 near the NJ National Guard Armory. The patients were treated on scene by Tuckerton Fire and EMS personnel. One victim was transported to Bay Avenue ball field by Qualilty Ambulance where the victim was transported to a trauma center by New Jersey State Police Medivac. A second victim was transported by Quality Ambulance to a local hospital. West Tuckerton Fire Department assisted at the landing zone and the traffic was diverted at the scene by the New Jersey State Police, Tuckerton Police Department, and the Tuckerton Fire Police.

At 10:52 a.m., Tuckerton Fire Department was dispatched to a fire alarm at Village on the Green Apartments Building 3, 500 East Main Street. At 10:56, the tones were again activated for a possible structure fire at the same address. At 10:35 a.m., Tuckerton Fire-Rescue was dispatched along with Mystic island and West Tuckerton Fire Companies to East Pimlico Road in Mystic Island for a report of a seal trapped on the ice.A joint effort by the fire companies along with personnel from Great Bay Regional Vol. EMS and the Marine Mammal Stranding Center resulted in a successful recovery of the seal, The seal was taken to ehe Marine Mammal Stranding Center, to be given fluids and some rest prior to being released.
